IRT I Infrared Inspection Training

  • Master the skills necessary to operate an infrared system and conduct thermography inspections with CRE Infrared Inspection training.

    An infrared thermography tool is a piece of equipment that is used to detect infrared radiation generated by an object, converting it to temperature and displaying a temperature distribution picture. Learn how to conduct an Infrared Thermography inspection through our certification training that is in accordance to the requirements of ISO 18436-7.

    This course will equip you with knowledge on Basic Thermal Physics, Basic Heat Transfer Theory, Electromagnetic Radiation, Infrared, Infrared Image, and Qualitative Thermography. The course is also recognized by the Australian Institute of Non-Destructive Testing (AINDT).

  • Q: What do I need to bring in the training?

    A: You need to bring your training manual, notes, and pen. Bring your Infrared Thermography Camera (preferably with USB or Wi-Fi connected to PC or Laptop), Polished Stainless Steel Kettle, Electrical Tape, Stable Internet Connection, Web Camera/Phone Camera for Live Presentation.

    Q: Do I need to have an engineering degree to undergo this training?

    A: No.

    Q: What are the requirements that I need to satisfy to secure my IRT certification?

    A: You need to complete ISO 18436-7 prescribed number of hours of training which is 32 hours, pass the exam with a grade of at least 75%, submit to AIRA a log of 300 hours of thermographic experience together with a sample report which contains 5 image report pages with infrared thermograms, corresponding actual images, and all related information.

IRT II Infrared Inspection Training

  • This course is applicable to Category I Infrared Thermography Practitioners who want to expand their thermography skills in order to handle more challenging situations. This course adheres to the requirements set down in ISO18436-7.

    This course will equip you with the capability to quantitatively interpret infrared inspection data to be able to maximize the monetary value of remedial actions you take based on your findings. This course will give you knowledge on Intermediate Thermal/Infrared Physics, Infrared Spectrum, Resolution Test & Calculations. The course is also recognized by the Australian Institute of Non-Destructive Testing (AINDT).
